I love the show. Hate the hats they designed for Mrs. Selfridge. Lady Mae looks impeccably chic. I don't know why they put those monstrous hats on such a tiny little actress. They must have been trying to portray the wife as dowdy and without style. If that was the point they succeeded. How could Mr. Selfridge let his wife out of the house in those horrible hats.That being said, I am addicted to the show! I love it love it love it! I also think the story lines are plausible. I am invested emotionally in all the characters and am interested in the resolutions of their stories. Looking at the information in the character/actor list and the number of episodes they appear in makes me sad. I see that Aisling Loftus and her brother only appear in 5 episodes. If that means we have seen the last of them then it doesn't make sense. I am hoping the number of episodes in the show summary is off by a few numbers. I have to see how Agnes, Victor and Mr. Leclair work out this triangle.
